Scissorssharp and vitalizing art in Vietnam
Since the turn of the year Bert van der Sluijs & Douwe Buwalda are back from Vietnam.
Spread over two periods they cooperated almost half a year with Vietnamese artists and art institutions. Together with coming artwork to make this summer, the results will be exhibited in september 2015, in retrospective exhibition: ‘work#art balancing’ ; within a year and a half work#art’s work is shown again in the Museum of Fine Arts of Ho Chi Minh City.
The coming months workheart Foundation organizes a series of lectures: ‘Warm Winter Afternoons in the Netherlands’. The work#art duo likes to share their special experiences with you if you are interested.
On the one hand looking with ‘strange eyes’ at Vietnamese art and culture and on the other hand be watched ‘strange’ from Vietnamese point of view, resulted in new art that amazed both sides.
Could such experiences be meaningful in the Dutch actuality and work out vitalizing in Kampen?
