During the week-end of coming 14 and 15 April, a remarkably lot of art-loving people are wandering through down-town Kampen. On that very week-end all musea are open for free and a lot of visual artists are showing their works in private houses, also open to the public. The 10th edition of ‘Weg Van Kunst’ is a fact. Just like most of the other versions, we are again participating in this art-walk with an art-installation. This time in our own home at 25 IJsselkade.
As a result of this tenth anniversary we show our first contribution to the art-walk of 2002. Elements of other versions get in this context a new form too. Special in this installation is a new environment. This time we install our cooperation ‘work#art’ in a permanent show room in ‘Huize Maria’. As visual artists we realize an long lasting intervention in our own home, with wich we strech part of the art-walk into a whole year. At that piont our work becomes totally integrated in a living environment.
The past weeks we were busy making groud floor of ‘Huize Maria’ fit for the purpose. We are not done yet, and we never will, that’s for sure. But during ‘Weg Van Kunst 2012′ you can have a look at the first results.
At the art week-end our new light objects are to be seen. After ‘ArtFair 2011′ we have more versions to offer. And in the meantime the glassblower is experimenting with our moulds for the ‘Glaze Table-covers’.
