At San Art, at the opening of a little exhibition 6-11-14

Miss Tra, the initiator, talking to the press in front of one of the artworks.

This little airplanes represent what’s happening inside the artist,
thinking about the plane crash of the Boeing of Malaysian Airways in the Indian Ocean.

This is an artwork, skilful cut out of paper.
I totally forgot the explanation. People here like to explain everything. We prefer to look without words.

Audience including some fellow students and teachers of Han. Nice to meet them and we surely are going to see them again at the project at Mai’s Gallery, next year.

The opening of a painting exhibition in the Fine Arts Museum in Saigon

Douwe, Anna from Gallery 333 (she invited us), the chairman of the Association of Fine Arts HCMC,
Mr. Uyen Huy and Han at the opening of an exhibition with paintings in the HCMC Museum of Fine Art.

Of course we exchange cards to strenghten the contacts. The chairman is also a teacher at
the University of Fine Arts in HCMC.

During the lunch in a little restaurant, Anna gives Douwe some food to try.

In the bus back home. Almost always a relaxed half an hour drive from the centre of the city
into one of the suburbs. So much to talk about ….

We give a hand in, it’s made in huge speed.

Ready!!! Pack up and go!!
This is one of the little jobs they do for some extra.

At the moped and go!!

Thanh Ha, village and pottery

After the rainy market the vision is a little bit dreariness, by tropic standards.

Sometimes Thanh Ha looks like a different part of the world.

But nearby there is a little restaurant; they dish up a delicious lunch of noodles with herbal tea.

And view at the river.

This brand of lemonade has the solution when it’s getting too hot: sponsored coolness

We just dropped by at the moment a big common ceramic kiln is emptied.

The content consists of simple terra-cotta ceramics, all consumer goods.
